Paisagens Noturnas

This series emerged in the context of my investigation on spirituality expressions and the belief of an invisible, indivisible, and universal force. The predominance of the color black underlies the perception that black can be found in all combination of paint, even in the blend of lighter shades. I refer as chromatic black the mix of two or more colors made gradually in the studio. This color is not uniform, given it is made by varying hues and nuances, adding volumetric perception through a sort of visual illusion that later brought the need to rethinking old ways of balancing the composition.
